Our clients are running a 650 jersey cow farm on rolling contour, they have good systems and infrastructure in place.  There is a 50 aside herringbone and in shed feeding.  This farm is in a great location and even backs onto the beach.We are seeking an experienced farmer, either at a solid Herd Manger level ready to step up or a 2IC wanting to balance work with lifestyle.  You will need to be comfortable with all day to day farming responsibilities including cowshed management; animal health detection and treatment along with tractor driving.  A good understanding of pasture management will also be beneficial.  As you will be assisting our clients with the day to day running, you will also need to be good with people and motivating a team around you.  We would like to see someone who can lead from the front.Our clients enjoy working on this farm and are seeking someone who is also passionate about the industry to become part of the team.  They have a good roster of 6 days on, 2 days off.To be considered for this role you will need to have a clear criminal and drug history.Accommodation A comfortable 3 bedroom house with heatpump and double garage. 60000 AUD New Zealand - NZ Northland Whangarei Whangarei
