Our Clients are looking for a vibrant and motivated 2IC to join their team for 2021.  Currently Contract Milking in Morrinsville, our clients are moving to a new position located in Maihihi.  Milking 530 Cows through a 36 aside herringbone shed with in-shed feeding.  The farm is 190ha effective rolling contour leading to a central shed.You will be required to manage day to day milking, understand and implement effective milking practices and maintain farm dairy hygiene. Be confident treating animal health issues and recording treatments. Competent in all aspects of calving and mating,You must have strong pasture knowledge in both grass and the implementation of supplement feeding. A knowledge of nutrient management, effluent and water.You role would also including training lower skilled staff so you would require good communication and reporting skills and over all good time management.You must be confident on vehicles, including tractor work which involves feeding out and practice on farm safety according to their farm policy.You must have a clean drivers licence and no drug or criminal convictions.If this sounds like you, please email your CV along with 2 references. 55000 AUD New Zealand - NZ Waikato Maihiihi
