Due to a current staff members change in personal circumstance and needing to move off farm, our client finds himself in need of an extra set of hands until the end of this season (as his Sharemilking contract comes to an end).  We are seeking an experienced Farm Assistant or Herd Manager who is comfortable with a fixed term opportunity through to May 2019.This may be the ideal job while you are 'in between' your next career move and you need a job while you take time to look for your ideal 'new season' opportunity.  Or you may want to take a step into the dairy industry.This is a well organised dairy farm in the Te Awamutu area.  They have a low stocking rate, currently milking 580 cows through a 40 aside herringbone on a low input system.We are seeking a self-motivated individual to assist in the day to day responsibilities on farm.  We are looking for candidates who have at least 6 – 12 months proven dairy farming experience and performance in shed management, animal health and good general farm practices.  You will also enjoy working as part of a team, have good use of initiative and like to take responsibility for your role. You must have a clear criminal and drug history.Accommodation1 bedroom cottage 40000 AUD New Zealand - NZ Waikato Rest of Waikato Te Awamutu
