This farm is a good example of organic farming standing the test of time.  It is well established (Certified in 1996) in organic practices.  Our client is milking a very friendly herd of 120 cows, so it is a great sized farm to learn from, especially in organic principles.Homeopathy is used in place of antibiotics; rock dust and cider vinegar is used instead of nitrogen or urea.This style of farming is unlike conventional farming practices; therefore we are seeking someone who truly understands the importance of animal welfare, solid health and safety practices and the need for a high level of farm standards.  You will also need strong observation skills and good levels of communication. Ideally you will have experience or be familiar with this style of farming, however most importantly we are seeking someone who has an open mind, is prepared to learn and shows a 'can do' attitude.  Our client is on farm full time so provides good support, but you will need to be prepared to be a good 'all-rounder' and able to turn  your hand to most farm tasks.Located on the edge of Hamilton, you will truly be living the best of both worlds!You will need to have a clear criminal and drug history to be considered for this position.AccommodationThere is no on-farm accommodation provided, however due to location being very close to the city edge, this is a good 'drive in' option. 40000 AUD New Zealand - NZ Waikato Hamilton Hamilton
