We are seeking a well-rounded Herd Manager to become part of our clients well performing team.  Due to a staff member recently leaving, our client is keen to get someone on board as soon as possible.  They are running 560 cows through a 40aside herringbone with in-shed feeding.There is a good team environment on farm, where the current employees have been with our client for around 5 years.  They offer a good roster, providing regular rotation to allow weekends off.  This role will allow you to take responsibility with day to day farming tasks and will help to develop your skills where required. You will need to have at least 2 years farming experience with a good understanding of animal health, pasture management and cowshed practices.You will also need to have a clear criminal and drug history.AccommodationOptions available depending on requirements.  Either share or non-shared within comfortable 3 bedroom homes. 45000 AUD New Zealand - NZ Otago Rest of Otago Oamaru
