Our client is a New Zealand owned and operated business specialising in the production of exotic weather boards and mouldings. With substantially increase demands for products, they are currently looking for Timber Machinists to help increase the production levels at the newly opened facility in Ruakaka. Applicants must have:3 years experience as Timber MachinistMust be reliable, possess a mature and positive attitude to work and be able to work productively as part of a busy team.Experience with Computer controlled multi headed timber moulders. Duties includes:Operation of one of the Company's precision Timber Moulders (Weinig Unimat 2000 / Weinig Powermat and Rex Beam planner).Operation includes setting the machines for the appropriate product, maintaining the quality of the machined product, maintaining production levels and completing relevant paper work for each product machined.Maintaining Quality control and supervising staff.Reading CAD drawings and use the information to produce intricate mouldings.Be physically fit enough to stand for 9.5hrs a day while turning, stacking and generally handling timber up to 6.1 metres long.Other timber processing and related duties maybe required e.g. machine set up and operation of end-matcher, Bohl wide belt sanding machine, running one of the Company's two Stenner Bandsaw's, cross cut saws and rip saws.Operation of a fork hoist may be required at timesWorking as part of close knit professional team, producing quality Timber products primarily for the New Zealand domestic market.Supervision of staff and assisting with day to day management of various departments.Hours of work will be up to six days a week and include rostered night time and weekend work.You must be able to pass a drug test.If you have these skills and are looking for a career rather than a job, please apply online.   25 AUD New Zealand - NZ Auckland Rodney & North Shore Auckland
