This is to give our clients a “heads-up” that Immigration will soon be announcing that Assistant Dairy Farm Manager and Dairy Herd Manager are to be included as “skilled” in Immigration instructions.
This may have significant implications for the Resident visa prospects of senior farm staff. Please contact us and talk your situation over with one of our licenced immigration advisers. We can then assess how this may affect each individual and, if it is appropriate, to consider an Expression of Interest under the Skilled Migrant Category.
This is excellent news for the dairy industry where many senior farming roles had not previously been viewed as skilled by the ANZSCO code.
