Our clients are running 1400 cows through an 80 bale rotary with automation and in-shed feeding. This is an extremely well set up farm with very enthusiastic farmers who are on a mission to be the best they can be.We are not just seeking a Herd Manager, but someone who will share our client’s passion and vision to be leading farmers in the NZ industry. This will mean that you are passionate about farming and farming in a modern world. You will have an affinity for technology and modern farming practices. You will also be someone who likes to take responsibility for your role and who likes to work to high standards (there are no compromises on this farm).If successful, you will need to be confident in cowshed management, animal health detection and treatment, tractor driving and general day to day farming practices. Pasture management would be beneficial, however training will be provided.Our clients have a good team environment where everyone enjoys working towards their goals.
