About the company:Established in 1979 producing and marketing the highest the quality shellfish and mussels engage into export business based in Coromandel Peninsula. About the role: Tasks are mainly mussel grading, opening (shucking), inspection, packing and factory cleaning/preparation.The shift if from Monday to Friday between 6:00am - 4:00pm.Tasks generally involve standing at a work station with stands and consist of repetitive movements.  Involve some heavy lifting sometimes. Appropriate protective equipment is supplied to employees. The working environment may be noisy/hot/cold/humid, depending on the task and location within the factory, with the possibility of exposure to chemicals and/or potential allergens e.g. mussel juice.This is a Full-time and seasonal jobAbout you:No experience required.Must be in NZ already with work rights (Open Work Visa, Post Study Work Visa, Working Holiday Visa, residence or NZ citizens).Can work long hours and come to work on-timeAble to start on the following dates.06 April 2020 (First batch)14 April 2020 (Second batch)20 April 2020 (Third batch) If it sounds like you, please send your updated CV, copy of your visa and passport to john@greenstone-recruitment.co.nz and write on the subject line Mussel Shucker.
