($29.66 per hour)

Our client is a family owned & operated manufacturing business supplying quality NZ made cabinet and furniture directly to the commercial sectors such as retirement villages, hotels, hospitality markets & medical/healthcare projects. Project based business model.

About the role:

• Working in a Furniture and Cabinetry department with 15 other staffs with the opportunity to move quickly into management of this department.
• Focus on quality work to maintain a high image & good brand in the marketplace. The work varies from large production style runs through to one-off pieces.

• Most of our staffs work around 9 hours per day, 5 days per week. (Sometimes there is opportunity for Saturday work if staff wish)

Skills and experience:

• 3 years’ verifiable experience
• Preferably experience in laminating, veneer & solid wood cabinets and furniture
• Need someone with adaptability & ability to meet deadlines.
