Our client is a family owned & operated manufacturing business supplying quality NZ made furniture directly to the commercial sectors such as retirement villages, hotels, hospitality markets & medical/healthcare projects. Project based business model.Do you want to join a fast-growing team of skilled craftsman & enjoy the friendly culture?We are looking for an Experienced Furniture Upholsterer. About the role:• Working in our upholstery department with 3 other staffs with the opportunity to move quickly into management of this department.• Role involves development work of new designs, cutting fabric, some sewing work (although we have a sewing machinist employed as well), foaming up frames & pulling on covers/stapling off.• Focus on quality work to maintain a high image & good brand in the market place. The work varies from large production style runs through to one-off pieces.Benefits and perks:• Great small-town environment & atmosphere located in the heart of the township close to shops.• Friendly team with family members.• Most of our staffs work around 9 hours per day, 5 days per week.
